Private for Squirrelstar & @pink (I was thinking we could have one of those weird moments where clan leaders meet up awkwardly when they were taking a walk )
Adderstar padded out of camp, her lime green eyes still dazed with sleep, from her mid day nap. Smelling the dry breeze of Greenleaf, she wrinkled up her nose, If the weather keeps getting warmer the rivers might dry up... The thought made her tense, the rivers where their not only their water supply but where the reeds grew and where the medicine cat would collect herbs! Taking a deep breathe of the hot air, she made her way to the reeds which outlined Dawnclan territory.
Seeing the border where Flight,Bright, and Dawnclan meet her eyes clouded. This was where the battle took place in which her mate died. The leader had never been able to let go of the thought even though it had been nearly 7 seasons.
Her nose tingled as she realized the scent of both Brightclan and Flightclan grew stronger, eyes widening, Adderstar prayed to Blueclan that it wasn't another battle. But instead of sensing anger from the two smells, the Dawnclan she-cat smelled something different. Pleasure. Like they were enjoying a nice walk through their territory. Maybe were not that different after all. Deciding it would be best to greet them she called out, "Enjoying a nice walk?"

|| I found myself waking up with a colossal pile of leaves, twigs, and moss. I was in the middle of my territory. It was just past mid day and the sun was burning my ebony pelt. Half my body was neatly tucked away under a large tree's feral roots. Thanks to my petite body, I easy danced from the roots of the tree and padded on soundless paws towards the border.
I was in a pleasant mood, I managed to stifle a yawn and ended up flashing a pair of pearly white razors. I shook out my already spiky fur, into an inky disarray. My fur was black, decorated with different patches of gray, a pair of coal eyelashes rimmed my large icy orbs.
As I approached the FlightClan border, and was astounded to smell an incredibly powerful stench, of both DawnClan and FlightClan. My pupils dilated in interest. I took wary steps at first, but they quickened swiftly, before I knew it I was at the corner of my clans border, which is shared with DawnClan and FlightClan. The sky opened up and the territory became more and more mushy under my paws.
I was a tiny she-cat but a brutal warrior, my body was small, but built to kill. As an apprentice I obsessed over being the best clan fighter, and in the end, I was.
Easily the bushed and undergrowth hid me, but as I spotted the familiar grays of Adderstar's pelt, I decided I should go mark the border, perhaps speak with the she-cat. My nose still itched from the FlightClan sent which was still growing stronger, but, the source, was not yet detected.

Squirrelstar woke with a start. She'd accidentally fell asleep, after staying outside of her den, looking for protection from the blue expanse of the sky. She felt cold. Maybe a walk would help, she decided, scrambling from the ferns she had settled in. She groomed her fur, ridding of the dust and plants only to fluff it out as the chilliness of night started to sting at her pelt. Getting to her paws, she stepped lightly from her nest, letting the guard posted outside of camp know that she was going for a walk. 'Be careful,' he had said, and Squirrelstar dipped her head. "I always am." She lingered for a moment, gazing out into her territory, before starting forward.
She strode through the undergrowth, ducking easily with her smaller, lithe form. The trees were washed in he light of dawn. Gray shadows reached for her, stretching across the ground. The gray-ish brown leader avoided them, feeling a chill. There was something strange about the shadows, like an ominous sign from BlueClan. What could be the danger? This is my own territory, protected and safe. Yet when she reached the border, strong scents of BrightClan and DawnClan reached her nose. She fumed. What was this? An invasion? Bristling, she stepped over the border.
Surprise lit her eyes when she found the source after sniffing around, though she didn't let them see it. Mintstar and Adderstar, sitting across from each other and seeming to have a friendly chat. "What is this?" she snapped, her tail lashing. "At first I thought you two were lovers breaking the warrior code, but it appears it is two leaders planning to attack my clan." She hissed. "How dare you, even? What have we done to you?" Her claws dug into the ground. She glared at them mistrustfully, though waited for a response. If there was going to be an invasion, she would get as much information from these two as she could. And then she would round on them and make them feel shameful of their actions.

Adderstar snorted with annoyance at the Flightclan leaders response, so much for a peaceful walk. But instead of causing conflict, the she-cat just dipped her head showing no hostility and replied with no hint of fear, "Squirrelstar, please, we are not plotting against your clan, it seemed we all had the intention of going for a nice walk along the borders and meet up unexpectedly." Despite the fact that she did not like that the Brightclan leader had showed up she still held her head to eye level without flinching.
The Dawnclan leader allowed her eyes to scan across the two leaders and look into their eyes to see if they meant any harm, she had a special skill where she could tell a cats emotion and sometimes thoughts.
She looked up at the sky her neck fur rising a bit with all the hostility before meowing, "You know, Blueclan hasn't communicated with me for some moons now." Every clan cat knew that she held a strong connection with Blueclan and often shared dreams with them, especially her dead mate which she missed gravely. Moving her head back to the earth she stared at the leaders and dared to ask with a calm tone to show this as a sign of peace, "Have any of you had contact with Blueclan in this recent moon?"

|| I was just enjoying the nice beginning to our unintentional little chat, when the LightClan leader decided to push her noisy nose into our business, in a rather threatening nature. A grin danced across my face like a ballerina. I, personally found Squirrelstar to be an amusing she-cat, she was to stubborn to think logically, and always seemed to expect the worst. I snorted, amusement flashing in my large pools of ice. I raised my dark brow before glancing back at Adderstar who seemed just as annoyed by the accusation.
"Oh Squirrelstar, there is no need to be so pertinacious, we were merely greeting each other."
I was a threatening type of she-cat, my spiky black fur framed my thin body perfectly, making me look large than I was, and also like sharp ball of spikes. Her eyes were narrowed, quizzically examining each leader with calculating eyes. My attention was then consumed by Adderstar, BlueClan? No BlueClan had been quiet for a while now.
I stayed quiet, I was good at being silent and reserved. I glanced to Squirrelstar, wondering how to proud she-cat was going to answer the question. Would it be another immature snap?

Adderstar gave a quick nod towards Mintstar as she too told Squirrelstar that they had no intentions of attacking her clan. She noticed that she was annoyed too but amused? Why does that cat always think she's the best leader in all of the forest? No matter how many times she spoke with the two leaders that now stood in front of her, she still always had to be strict with them, they did not care for her kindness or offer for help.
Noticing that the Brightstar leader looked confused when she mentioned Blueclan and how she had not made contact with them for a while she figured that Mintstar would be no help considering the way she acted. "Mintstar I suppose you haven't made any contact with Blueclan then." The Dawnclan she-cat then turned to Squrrielstar and waited for her reply. Maybe the proud she-cat would, for once, tell her the truth instead of saying that she was just trying to "spy" on her clan.
"Squirrelstar, what about you?"

Squirrelstar curled her lip, about to protest, but the two rambled on. She sat up straight and tossed them each a glare. Mintstar seemed amused. Well, great. Fine. She didn't care. All that mattered was protecting her Clan. Finally it was her turn to speak, and she curled her bushy tail around her paws, defiant. "Well, first of all, put your petty self-importance aside. All I ever did was protect my Clan." Her eyes narrowed, as if she dared them to argue. "Secondly, I have not gotten any contact from BlueClan." Her gaze grew miserable, and her chin tilted up as she tried to seek them out in the growing stars. "But I feel like this a time where we must stand strong with our own Clans." Her gaze tilted back down, and she motioned to the two leaders with her tail. "Come, let's find a good place to sit, and talk about it."
She felt a flash of annoyance as she remembered her earlier hostile appearance, responded to with irritation and amusement. They would probably think she was dancing around her gestures, hostile and willing to talk. She flicked her tail. Whatever, She didn't care, again. Standing, she stretched and headed toward the border. The ground was suddenly soft underpaw, and she turned to see if the leaders were following her.

Adderstar gave the Flightclan leader a confused glare, this cat was very confusing. First hostile then proud, and finally strict yet willing to talk. Rolling her eyes she responded to the leader with a monotone voice, "I fell the same, we must do the best for our clan." But when the she-cat said that she too had not had any contact with Blueclan her tail dropped slightly, why wasn't their warrior ancestors there to watch over them? "I see, I wonder if the Pathclan leader has gotten any news."
Then out of no where Squirrelstar suggested that they could have a "talk" whatever that meant. She opened her mouth to reply but she noticed she had already began to pad into her territory. Narrowing her eyes softly, she quickly caught up to her and asked, "So you decided it would be better off to not be so hostile, eh?"

I sat as we reached the designated area, my spiky fur simply attracting the sun boiling my blood. I however was used to this, we were now under the trees and I felt much more in my comfort zone. My eyes were like pools of shipping ice, at the thought of BlueClan, the icyness in my eyes melted and waves of concern took their place.
"BlueClan hasn't spoken to me at all recently."
The spiky leader lifted a paw and began licked the fur from between her abnormally long black claws. She gazed at Squirrlestar with calm eyes, the pride of this she-cat was surly going to destroy her clan, I could tell as soon as I heard her speak when I first met her as an apprentice at the early gatherings.
I then looked at Adderstar then back to Squirrelstar again, "Perhaps we're meant to build larger clans before we are spoken to with advice." I suggested trying to keep up my hopes, my voice was raspy, yet compelling in a haunted way.

As Adderstar followed the Flightclan leader in a respectful distance, her ears flew back to where Mintstar was and listened to her speak finally. Her words were actually wise. Maybe this she-cat does have some reasonable answers after all. She then stopped in her tracks and turned to face the Brightclan leader, matching her pools of iciness, with her calm eyes, "I believe maybe you are right." She then turned around and began to walk again, telling both of the leaders this time, "Maybe Blueclan is waiting for us to do something?" She then dropped her head a bit and thought gravely, But what?
"Maybe Blueclan wants us to do something..." Adderstar repeated her words in her head and thought, That must have sounded so mouse brained. Letting out a huff of frustration, the green eyed she-cat allowed herself to tell Squirrelstar with annoyance showing, "Honestly, when are we going to get to this "place" and speak." Her tail acted like a whip as she stood her ground not moving a inch.
I shouldn't have burst out like that... Letting out a sigh, she decided to be a little kinder and meowed quickly, "I would only say this because I would think our clans would get worried of our absence." This was true, she remembered when she had been gone for a day and had gone to speak to Blueclan with her medicine cat, she found out that when she returned, every cat had been freaking out and the deputy had sent patrols to look for her.
She allowed her eyes to slowly move over to Squirrelstar and show her snake like eyes which were now filled with ice. She never did like the idea of talking, it didn't seem like her character... Maybe she just wanted to have an ambush for all Adderstar knew! Narrowing her eyes she followed the she-cats every move making sure, that she didn't flick her tail for a sign of attack or do any motion to signal anything.
